Popular Playlist Hits: The Highest Demanded Songs for PCDJs in 2017

Just as they do each year, DJ Event Planner just posted the 200 most requests songs (from DJs) of 2017.

While every market varies, DJ Event Planners requested songs list is compiled based on over 2 million song requests made using the DJ Event Planner song request system so it’s largely an accurate representation of what songs DJs are heard the most requests for throughout 2017, no matter their location. The DJ Event Planner platform is primarily used by Mobile/Wedding DJs so the list of songs is open format and don’t likely apply all that well to jocks mixing at the club.

As a DJ it’s always a bit of fun reviewing the list each year. The usual suspects such as “Don’t Stop Believin’”, “Sweet Caroline”, and “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” are clearly Mobile DJ mainstays as their location near the top of the list once again confirms. It should come as no surprise to mobile jocks that “Uptown Funk” takes the top spot as numero uno 2017 floor-filler — I’m sure most hear the track playing on repeat when their head hits the pillow each night!
